The gap in modern AI sales tools

There's a growing wave of AI tools built around one simple pattern: the call ends, and now you can ask a chatbot about it. What did we cover? What objections came up? What should I do differently next time?

It's a genuinely useful pattern, atleast for questions you already know to ask.

The problem with asking

Here's the thing nobody building these tools seems to sit with: you can't ask about a blind spot you don't know you have.

If something slipped past you mid-call, a stakeholder you didn't realise needed to sign off, an objection buried in a throwaway line, a budget concern mentioned once and never returned to, you're not going to think to ask about it afterwards. That's exactly why you missed it in the first place. The gap in your attention during the call becomes a gap in your questions after it.

Querying an AI about a call you already half-remember is a better search bar. It's not a safety net.

What we did instead

Every opted-in call gets transcribed and summarised automatically, then written straight into the CRM. No querying, no prompting yourself to remember what you forgot, no second step that depends on you already knowing something went missing.

You shouldn't have to know what you missed to find out you missed it.

That's the whole idea, really. The value isn't in making it easier to ask questions about a call. It's in removing the need to ask at all.

Why this matters more than it sounds like it should

Sales reps are good at conversation, not at auditing their own attention in real time. Nobody catches everything on a live call (even if we like to pretend we do) that's not a skill gap, it's just how conversations work. The fix isn't a better way to interrogate your own memory afterwards. It's a system that doesn't rely on your memory being complete in the first place.

If you're evaluating a call intelligence tool and the pitch is "ask it anything about your calls," it's worth asking a harder question back: what happens to the things I didn't think to ask about?

That's why we exist
